Admas Kebede
Engineer.
Builder.
Systems thinker.
I build from 0 → 1 — across the web, mobile, and the infrastructure underneath. Small teams, real users, things that have to work on Monday morning.
Currently founding engineer at Whale, a proptech + fintech platform.
About
I like the whole stack.
I’m a software engineer most at home at the edges of a system — the part where a product meets a user, and the part where a service meets the network. Web, mobile, infra — I move between them because that’s where the interesting tradeoffs live.
I care about shipping. I care about boring reliability. And I care about the small, warm details in a product that tell someone — a real person — that a human made this with them in mind.
Right now I’m focused on 0 → 1 work: getting new things from sketch to live, from prototype to paying users, from zero to the first hundred people who can’t live without it.
- Full-stack web (Next.js, TypeScript, Postgres)
- Mobile & product engineering
- Systems, infra, and deployment
- Going from zero to something real

Things I’ve shipped.
A few of the products I’ve helped build — as a founding engineer, as a solo builder, and everything in between.

Whale
Founding engineer
Proptech + fintech platform. Shipped a security-deposit product that integrates directly with property management systems (PMS), and a fintech layer for managing escrowed funds and the interest that sits on top of them. Joined at zero; helped take both products from first commit to production.

Let’s build something.
I’m always happy to hear from folks working on hard problems, 0 → 1 ideas, or teams looking for a full-stack builder who can also go deep on infra.
